Poison Eve
What can be said about Eve that hasn't already been said? Once described as "a rare carnivorous night-blooming lily; flaunting neither falsies nor realies", Poison Eve (then Psychotic Eve) was one of the founders of the seminal downtown drag troupe Blacklips Performance Cult. There, on The Pyramid stage, she formed her distinctively dark and often bloody lip-synch stylings. Later performed and collaborated creatively with the Post-Orwellian rock combo Stiffs, Incorporated. As a multi-Jackie Award winner, Eve put the "method" into "Method Go-Go" portraying such luminaries as Ed Wood, Sid Vicious and Norman Bates. As a playwright, sacrilegious performance artiste, gender sublimator, and - most recently - a web mistress, this chameleon - hell-bent on decaying glamour - has still a few bones left to pick.
