This "Lady" is best known as the founder, producer and Mistress of Ceremonies of Wigstock, New
York's Labor Day dragfest since 1984. She's a Southern girl through and through, raised in
Chatanooga and first "up in drag" professionally in Atlanta's fertile bar scene with friends Flloyd, Lahoma and
RuPaul.
Her first New York haunt was the seminal Pyramid Club, and she still prowls the night
fearlessly - whether spinning lounge tracks in various New York nightspots, performing her own cabaret-style
revue (most recently at Fez) or just terrorizing and delighting the unwary night
public every chance she gets.
