Brandon Olson came to New York in 1998 from the Northwest and has worked in
theatre, fashion and nightlife since. He can often be spotted on the street
wearing found objects from the tonier dumpster boutiques of Manhattan.
Olson has appeared on the boards of LaMama, P.S. 122, Playwrights Horizon's
Studio and Dixon Place. Go Go Real, which he created with British
choreographer Jonathan Wooster recieved a GLAAD award nomination and
premiered at Dixon Place as part of their Mondo Cane Commission series. It
was later performed in Provincetown, MA.
As a stylist, he's worked with Patricia Field, and at Boudoir in NoLiTa.
Brandon has also designed decor for numerous events for Spa and Suzanne
Bartsch.
Charlie, an ongoing performance party he hosted @ Marion's on the Bowery was
a showcase for many talented new artists. He host's Ultra at Spa and often
works with promoters Suzanne Bartsch, Sweetie, Larry Tee, and Chi
Chi Valenti & Johnny Dynell and The Jackie Factory. He was the first to win the
coveted title "Miss All That" @ Cheez Whiz.
